In the series Very Noisy I explore the mechanisms by which inner dialogue is formed and awareness is attained.
I turn to a strategy of visual oversaturation, building multilayered compositions in which fragmented, surreal images are superimposed on one another, creating an effect of cognitive overload. The project’s aesthetic refers to my personal experience of vivid, saturated nightmares, which I regard as a symbolic form of unconscious communication.
The visual language of Very Noisy becomes a tool for making sense of processes of self‑identification and their inevitable collision with exogenous factors — cultural codes, social norms and behavioural patterns. My practice is aimed at exploring how internal and external “noises” shape the boundaries of perception, complicating the possibility of genuine introspection and connection with oneself.
